Introduction

Thank you for using Seclo. Your privacy is our highest priority. Seclo is designed as a secure, local-first vault for your private photos, videos, passwords, credit cards, and notes. We believe your personal data belongs strictly to you.

1. Local-Only Storage & Encryption

All media (photos/videos) and text data (logins, credit cards, secure notes) imported into or created within Seclo remain strictly on your device.

• ✓We do not have servers that host your vault data.
• ✓We cannot view, access, or recover your photos or passwords.
• ✓Everything is secured locally using device-level encryption.

2. Information We Collect

Seclo is designed to function entirely offline without requiring an account or collecting personal data. The only external data handling involves premium features:

• Subscription Data: If you purchase Seclo Pro, transactions are processed securely through Apple. We use third-party services (like RevenueCat) strictly to verify your subscription status. We do not have access to your payment details or Apple ID information.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep the core version of Seclo free, we use third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) for users not on the Pro plan.

These ad networks may collect non-identifiable device information, such as your IP address or mobile advertising ID, to serve relevant ads. By upgrading to Seclo Pro, all third-party advertising SDKs are completely disabled.

4. Device Permissions

Seclo requests only the permissions necessary to function:

• Photo Library: Required strictly to import images and videos into your secure vault.
• Network Access: Required to verify App Store subscriptions and load optional advertisements for free users.

5. Data Deletion

Because your vault is completely offline, you have total control over your data. You can delete individual items directly inside the app. If you uninstall Seclo, the operating system will permanently erase all your vault contents from the device.
